Support groups
These opportunities for parishioners and the wider community are offered regularly and include groups for bereavement, divorced/separated and prostate cancer support, loss of a baby and others.


Early Stage Dementia Support Group

The Alzheimer's Association is holding monthly meetings

on the 4th Tuesday of every month from 10am - 11:30 am

at Dunwoody United Methodist Church

for individuals diagnosed with early stage memory loss and their caregivers.


Connect with others who are on a similar journey through activities, discussion and profession resources.

The Wellstar Women's Service Line have opened up their monthly Lunch and Learn series to the general public. The meetings take place on the third Friday of each month from noon-1:00pm.

Bingo: Join your fellow parishioners and nursing home residents to play at upcoming bingo events the third Saturday of each month at 11:00 am.
Needed: Clean, gently-used Beanie Babies or similar, small stuffed animals for prizes at our monthly bingo games at East Cobb Nursing Home.
