The St. Ann community is pleased to walk this special journey with you.

Please read below to see which preparation and program is right for you.
We offer programs for adults, teens and children who are entering the faith.

To begin a baptismal journey, obtain sacramental records,
become a godparent/Confirmation sponsor with a parish verification form or
update any parish record, contact Teena Kay.



Baptism

Infant Baptism: Birth to 7 years old

If you would like to have your child baptized at St. Ann,

please contact the Parish Secretary Teena Kay, (770-552-6400 x6010).

We will guide you on Catholic Baptism preparation, requirements and scheduling your child’s Baptism. 


Children 8 years old to fifth grade

Please join us in our Order of Christian Initiation for Children (OCI-C) program. Click here to register.

Teens grade 6-12

Reconciliation

Saturday

10:00-11:00 am

Reconciliation rooms are on the hallway to the right of the altar. Click here for a campus map.


Monday-Friday

Immediately after 9:00am Mass

Presiding priests offer the sacrament of Reconciliation in the narthex.

First Communion

For those who have been baptized, but are in need of First Communion:


Grades 1-3

First Communion prep is a two-year preparation process that begins in first, second, or third grade. Please join us by signing up for a Year 1 class, or transferring your previous Communion prep and registering for a Year 2 class, through our Launch program. Grades 4-5

Grades 6-12

In addition to attending Edge/Life Teen sessions, please join us in our Voyage program. Please contact Jill Orban, 770-552-6400 x6035, for details.

 

Adults (18 and older)

Confirmation

If you have been baptized and received First Communion, but in are in need of Confirmation:


Youth

Middle school grades 6-8 and high school grades 9-12:

Adults

If you are a baptized Catholic who has received Holy Communion and only need to be confirmed, please contact Stephanie Holden,for information about our adult Confirmation program. 

 

Adults who also need other sacraments of initiation (Baptism and Eucharist) will enter the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) program. For information on this program, contact OCI Coordinator, Susan Harris.

Marriage

Anointing of the Sick

The sacrament of Anointing of the Sick may be administered to those who are gravely sick, undergoing a serious operation or are experiencing a significant health issue. Arrangements for a priest to administer the sacrament can be made through our Pastoral Care office, 770-552-6400 x6019. (M-Th, 9:00am-5:00pm; F, 9:00am-2:00pm). After hours, please call 470-785-2445.


Funeral arrangements

Planning and funeral arrangements are made through our Pastoral Care office. The office meets with the families and works with clergy and parish staff to assure the funeral gives honor to the deceased. A Pastoral Care staff member is present at all funerals that take place at the parish.
