Habitat for Humanity

St. Ann's Habitat for Humanity is a community of volunteers who work in partnership with five other Cobb Catholic churches and the homeowners to build one or more Habitat houses per year in Cobb County. Volunteer opportunities include house construction, supplying food for builds and staffing multiple fundraising events.

Key to a brighter future

Even rain clouds could not dampen the joy of Habitat for Humanity’s newest homeowners. Forty-five members of St. Ann’s Habitat ministry either swung a hammer or wielded a paintbrush during the nine-week build. Others prepared or purchased food to feed the volunteers and countless others continue to support the mission with their prayers and treasure.

New homeowners D’Ana and Tracey were presented with the keys to their homes, a bible, and a hammer – symbolic of the action everyone took to make their homes a reality. Monsignor John Schillinger joined us to bless the new homes.

Thank you to all who participated, volunteered and prayed for the 2023 home build.
