How you can participate in the St. Ann-Santa Ana collaboration

Donate and/or Sponsor with St. Ann-Santa Ana Unbound

Donate: Santa Ana villagers lack many of life’s basic necessities. St. Ann’s sponsors are the cornerstone of Unbound’s success in Santa Ana.

Sponsorships help children, youth and elderly villagers break out of poverty by providing funds to improve their health, nutrition, housing, clothing and access to education.

100% of donor funds go directly to villagers. To find out if your company has a matching gift program and to facilitate your gift request, use the Unbound online search tool.

Father Roger Plante was an early member of the Unbound organization, and when he began a special project for St. Ann, it was serendipitous that Unbound had found an area in El Salvador named Santa Ana. Before Father Roger’s passing in December 2017, he formalized the St. Ann–Santa Ana ministry, board of directors, and operating committees to ensure that this work would continue.

Unbound volunteers share their faith and gifts

Unbound came to life as a ministry at St. Ann’s under the exuberant enthusiasm of the late Father Roger Plante. His heartfelt homilies about the villagers of Santa Ana, El Salvador, and his homespun stories inspired hundreds of our parish family to get involved in this international outreach ministry.

“How could I call myself Christian and turn my back on these people?” asked parishioner and Unbound donor Janet Baudry. “I’m blessed and I have really more than what I need to live on and a lot of these people don’t. They go from day to day in such dire need and poverty, how could I turn my back on them?”
