Pro-Life Ministry

Get educated, get involved

What you can do

The Bible asks us to help the least of our brothers and sisters. These most vulnerable people include defenseless, innocent children in the womb. Here are some things you can do to make a real difference in their lives:

  • Join or support St Ann's Pro-Life Ministry. Click here to sign up for the email newsletter.
  • Support local pregnancy centers by donating your time, talent and treasure, like the Pregnancy Aid Clinic in Roswell.
  • Make sure you and your friends are registered to vote and educate yourself about the candidates. Visit st-ann.org/digital-media for more information about faith and voting.
  • Meet with and write to your legislators as a constituent, communicating the Church's positions on life issues.  Click here to watch Bishop Hartmayer's homily from the Mass for the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children (January 22, 2020).
  • Tell others about Project Rachel, a ministry of the Catholic Church in the U.S. to those who have been involved in abortion. It is a diocesan-based network of specially trained priests, religious, counselors and laypersons who provide a team response of care for those suffering in the aftermath of abortion. In addition to referrals for reconciliation, the ministry provides an integrated network of services, including pastoral counseling, support groups, retreats and referrals to licensed mental health professionals.
  • Pray for those who have been involved in an abortion.
