Pastoral Council

ST. ANN NEEDS YOU!

Do you care deeply about our parish? (Of course you do!) We invite YOU to consider serving on the Pastoral Council. It is a priority for us to have a diverse representation so all voices are heard … and we need your help to make it happen. Don’t worry, there’s no commitment at this stage – it’s just a conversation!

Alternatively, if you would like to “nominate” a friend, we ask you to share with them directly why you think they would serve our parish well in this capacity and invite them to attend the info session.

The Pastoral Council is a leadership body which exists at the discretion of the pastor to provide guidance within the family of St. Ann. The council supports our clergy, serves our parish and represents our parishioners. Members are the voice of the people in the pews and collaborate with our pastor to develop and implement strategies for the spiritual growth and welfare of our parish community.

In the coming year, the councils focus will be to use the “Best Practices for Parishes” process to survey parishioners about several areas of parish life, with the goal of creating a pastoral plan that adds direction and concreteness to our community ministries and future development.
