AIDS Ministry

The AIDS Ministry has been active for more than 30 years during which the needs of clients have evolved. In the beginning, volunteers were called on to care for individuals and their families suffering with the disease on a daily basis: men, women, even children, and they became part of St. Ann’s family. In one six-month period, we lost eight members of our family. Thank God the needs have changed, but the nonjudgmental compassion and caring has not.

These days, the AIDS Ministry has not stopped assisting those affected by HIV/AIDS and volunteers continue to operate a hotline through which they provide food and financial assistance to those in need. Even during Covid, volunteers, working the hotline from their own homes, are able to send rental, utility and food assistance to people calling in.

If you would like to volunteer or know someone in the AIDS community who needs our help, contact the hotline: 770-518-6094.
