SENT (St. Ann’s Young Adults Group)
Who We Are & What We Do
SENT is St. Ann’s Young Adults group. Our mission is to empower young adults to live out their calling as disciples of Christ through fellowship, spiritual enrichment, and service. We provide a welcoming space where young adults can deepen their faith, grow spiritually, and connect with others who are navigating the challenges and joys of life as young adults. Through spiritual enrichment events, social events, volunteer opportunities, and community-building activities, we offer a variety of ways to grow in relationship with Christ and each other.
Why We Exist
We exist to support and guide young adults in their journey of faith, helping them grow spiritually while building meaningful relationships with others. By participating in SENT, young adults are encouraged to live their faith boldly, becoming true disciples of Christ who actively contribute to the life of the Church and the world.
Who We Serve
SENT is for all young adults aged 19-30, whether you’re new to the faith or looking for a deeper connection with Christ and others. We offer opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and service in a community of peers who share a commitment to living out the Gospel.
Volunteer Opportunities
SENT provides several opportunities for young adults to get involved, including:
- Event Planning & Coordination: Help plan social events, retreats, and service projects.
- Spiritual Team: Lead small group discussions, plan spiritual event to help others grow in their faith.
- Service Projects: Help plan and volunteer for outreach initiatives, helping to serve the community.
- Mentorship: Be a guide for others as they grow in their faith and navigate the challenges of young adulthood.
Special Requirements
- Open Heart & Willingness: Volunteers and members should have a desire to grow in faith and share their experiences with others.
- Virtus Training: Volunteers involved in activities that engage with vulnerable individuals (such as service projects with children) must complete a safe environment VIRTUS training and a background check to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being.
