Our Confirmation Program is Changing!
Big changes are coming to the Sacrament of Confirmation throughout the Archdiocese of Atlanta! Over the next several years, Confirmation will move from 10th grade to 6th grade, with a stronger family-centered preparation process.

Confirmation Requirements
Year 1 & 2 – Faith Formation
- STUDENTS: Complete 2 years of general faith formation completed in Edge or Launch
- PARENTS: Complete 8 general faith formation sessions during year 1 and 8 sessions during year 2
Year 3 – Confirmation Preparation
- Parish Registration
- Confirmation Registration
- Submit Baptism Certificate if not already on file
- Complete 10 Community Service Hours
- Choose a Saint & Sponsor
- Complete a Confirmation Retreat or Catch the Spirit
- Confirmation Retreat
- Join us for a powerful overnight retreat experience from Saturday at 8:00 AM through Sunday at 6:00 PM, concluding with the St. Ann Life Teen Mass.
- The retreat will be held at: Camp Hidden Lake 830 Hidden Lake Road Dahlonega, GA 30533
- We offer two opportunities to attend each year and confirmandi need only to attend one retreat
- Fall Retreat – October 10-11. 2026
- Winter Retreat – January 30-31, 2027
- PARENTS: Complete 6 confirmation preparation sessions

If you are an adult who would like to begin your Catholic faith journey, please contact our OCI Coordinator Stephanie Holden.
