MUST Ministry
Who We Are & What We Do
MUST Ministry is a dedicated team of adult volunteers committed to serving those in need through food and fellowship. Our nine teams take turns purchasing, preparing, and serving weekend lunches at the Loaves & Fishes kitchen in the Hope House Shelter in Marietta. Through warm meals and kind hearts, we help bring nourishment and comfort to our neighbors in distress.
Why We Exist
We are called to serve by providing home-cooked meals to those facing hardship in our community. As Jesus says in Matthew 25:35, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” A simple meal can restore hope, dignity, and remind those we serve that they are not forgotten.
Who We Serve
Our ministry serves the residents of the Hope House Shelter in Marietta, GA, offering them not only food but also a sense of care and compassion during difficult times.
Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome new adult volunteers to join our teams in preparing and serving meals. Whether you can help occasionally or on a regular basis, your time and effort will make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Special Requirements
Because we work with vulnerable individuals, all volunteers must complete a safe environment VIRTUS training and background check to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing. The background check is provided at no cost by MUST Ministries.
