Who We Are & What We Do

The Carroll Center serves as a vibrant hub for both parish and community events. Our goal is to foster fellowship and promote fitness through recreation in a Christian atmosphere, where the emphasis is on enjoyment and personal growth rather than competition. The center hosts St. Ann’s Youth Basketball Program, where children have the opportunity to develop skills and learn the game of basketball. Additionally, the facility is available for rental to local community sports programs such as men’s basketball, volleyball, and futsal.
Beyond athletics, the Carroll Center also supports various ministries at St. Ann’s. It serves as the venue for events such as the Pre-School and Launch Programs, the Women’s Guild’s Apple Annie Craft Fair, and the Parish Garage Sale. Recently, it also hosted the inaugural event for the Family Life Ministry.

Why We Exist

We exist to be ambassadors for our community, offering a safe, welcoming, and Christian environment for all to participate in a variety of events. With a focus on fellowship, fun, and positive interactions, the Carroll Center seeks to foster a spirit of cooperation and unity, inspired by the missionary spirit of the La Salette.

Who We Serve

Our doors are open to everyone who wishes to take part in events at the Carroll Center. Whether you’re joining a youth program, participating in community sports, or attending one of our ministry events, the center is here to serve all. The facility is also available for rental to other organizations.

Volunteer Opportunities

We need volunteers to help support our Youth Basketball Program. Roles such as coaches, referees, and scorekeepers are essential for keeping the program organized and enjoyable. While prior basketball knowledge is helpful, the main requirement is a desire to work with young children and a passion for building positive relationships.

Special Requirements

Because we work with vulnerable individuals, all volunteers must complete a safe environment VIRTUS training and background check to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
