The 50+ Rewards Ministry is a vibrant, welcoming community dedicated to fostering fellowship, faith, and fun for parishioners aged 50 and older. Whether you’re seeking to make new friends, deepen your faith, or simply enjoy wonderful company, the 50+ Rewards Ministry is here to support you!
Why We Exist
Inspired by Christ’s call to community and love, we recognize the importance of companionship and shared experiences. As Acts 2:42 reminds us, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Our ministry provides a welcoming space for members to gather, celebrate, and support one another in faith, while cultivating strong friendships.
Who We Serve
The 50+ Rewards Ministry is open to all St. Ann’s parishioners aged 50 and older who seek meaningful connections and an engaging community. Our events—such as luncheons, monthly birthday acknowledgments, social outings, and seasonal celebrations—offer opportunities for fun and fellowship, while deepening our faith together. Last year, we hosted several events that brought joy to over 90 members of our parish! We meet on the second Thursday of the month (September through May) at 11:00 AM in LaSalette Hall.
Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome members who are interested in volunteering to support our events and activities. Opportunities include:
- Event Planning & Setup: Help organize luncheons, outings, and special events.
- Hospitality & Greeting: Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting attendees and assisting with check-ins.
- Behind-the-Scenes Support: Assist with communications, coordinating reservations, and preparing materials for events. Whether you can commit a few hours a month or wish to take a more active role, there’s a place for you to serve in the 50+ Rewards Ministry!
Special Requirements
There are no special training requirements to join or volunteer with the 50+ Rewards Ministry. Simply bring your enthusiasm, your willingness to connect with others, and a heart for fellowship!
