This September, our parish celebrates 180 years since the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared at La Salette, France. Discover her message, pray with us, and join our parish as we respond to her invitation to draw closer to her Son.

September 19, 1846
Two young shepherds, Mélanie Calvat and Maximin Giraud, were tending their animals in the mountains of La Salette, France, when they encountered a beautiful woman seated and weeping.
“Come near, my children.”
Mary invited the children closer and spoke to them about prayer, conversion, and returning to her Son.
A Mother in Tears
Her tears revealed the sorrow of a mother who sees her children drifting away from God—but her message was ultimately one of hope and reconciliation.
“Make this known to all my people.”
Before disappearing, Mary entrusted the children with a mission: share what they had seen and heard.
Her message is still for us.
180 years later, Our Lady continues to invite us to come near, return to Jesus, and become people of reconciliation.
