Ministers facilitate the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at Eucharistic celebrations. Certain qualifications are needed as well as attendance at an archdiocesan training program.

Qualifications:

  • Baptized, Confirmed, validly married (if married), and practicing Catholics, sixteen years of age or older, are eligible for this ministry.
  • They should be persons who sincerely try to live the Gospel message in their communal and individual lives.
  • They should faithfully participate in the Sunday Eucharist and with God’s grace strive to live their faith in every aspect of their lives.
  • They should demonstrate a deep reverence for and devotion to the Eucharist.
  • They should possess the requisite abilities and temperament to carry out their assigned duties
  • Be a registered Parishioner of St. Ann
