Background
St. Ann’s Women’s Guild organizes an annual Parish Spring Garage Sale.  The generous donations received and hard work of many volunteers generate a substantial return, 70% of which stays in the parish while 30% is distributed to community charities.

 
Donations of Clean, Usable and Working Items Needed

Items Accepted:

All clothes (Men’s, Women’s, Children’s and Baby),

Accessories/Shoes, Toys, Linens, Collectibles/Nearly New, Furniture, Exercise/Sporting Equipment, Baby Furniture/Equipment, Books, Videos, CD/DVDs,

Housewares, Small Appliances, Flat Screen TVs only, Luggage and Outdoor Items.
 
Items We Cannot Accept
Electronics (Computers, Printers, Copy/Fax Machines, Typewriters, and Large CRT TV’s), Car seats, recalled items (e.g Side Drop Cribs), Mattresses/Box Springs, Waterbed Frames/Mattresses, Carpet/Padding, Press Board Furniture, Tires, Weapons (guns/bows/Ammo/Knives).

Large Appliances (built in or freestanding), Food Items, Paint/Household Chemicals, Live Plants/Fertilizer, any items Containing Gasoline, Auto Waste (Batteries/Fluids), Building Materials (e.g. Windows, Doors, Sinks/Commodes, Plumbing Fixtures, etc.), Ceiling Fans, Glass/Unframed Mirrors, Traditional Recyclables (paper/glass/magazines), Fragrances, Personal Care Items (Shampoo, Lotion, Sprays)or Window Blinds/Valances/Rods, Propane tanks.

NO FURNITURE HEAVIER THAN 100 LBS( Needs to fit in a standard pickup truck and be able to be lifted by 2 people)

 
Volunteers Needed April 14 thru April 21   
We need many volunteers (men, women and teens) to set-up the departments, serve/prepare volunteer snacks/meals, sort donations, assist shoppers and clean-up at the end.  Many shift time are available.  Please consider working a three hour shift.  There will be a Volunteer Pre-Sale on Wednesday, April 18th from 11:00am- 12:30 pm.  Babysitting is available at various times.
