Edge is a middle school youth ministry program designed to lead teens closer to Christ. There is so much changing in the lives of middle school youth, it is essential that they be introduced to the truth and love of Jesus Christ and the Church so that their lives can be transformed and led in a positive direction. Edge youth ministry strives to introduce the youth to the saving power and love of Christ in a few specific ways:

  • Through fun and relevant catechesis.
  • By connecting the youth to a loving community.
  • By having faithful adults present and who are committed to journeying with them.
  • By reaching out in love and truth to lead youth closer to God.

There are three different components to our Edge program:

  • Edge Nights: Catechetical nights for 6th through 8th grade. Classes are two 12-week semesters. 7th & 8th grade years are required for Confirmation Preparation.
  • Service Sundays: Service activities for the middle school youth to service their parish and local community.
  • Mass & More: Fun events for the middle school youth to continue to grow in community together. Events include go-carts, bonfire, movies, and more!

Our Mission: To Lead Teens Closer to Christ

Our Vision: To Create Irresistible Environments to Make Disciples Who Make Disciples

Community Ambassador

A Community Ambassador is essential to the welcoming environment of St. Ann’s.  Each week 2 volunteers arrive 15 minutes before each of our 8 masses and greet parishioners as they enter the church. A very simple smile and a Good Morning, Good Afternoon, or Welcome is all you need to say. You simply need to welcome the community into the church.

If you are friendly and want to share your gift of making fellow parishioners feel welcome before each mass we would love to have you serve at your mass. Service hours will be offered. To sign up, please e-mail Christina Hood at  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
