You may recognize them only when fully regaled, but the nearly 400 men of the Knights of Columbus are at work year-round and the group’s beneficiaries go far beyond our parish boundaries.
“The Knights of Columbus are an integral part of the life and ministry of St. Ann,” said our pastor, Father Ray Cadran.
“They provide many services for community- building, care for those with practical needs, support for other ministries, essential fundraising, blood drives — and this is only a partial list of their dedication.”
Each year, the Knights’ fundraisers generate more than $60,000, all of which is donated to area nonprofits including the Rally Foundation for childhood cancer research, the American Heart Association, Special Olympics, veterans’ programs and of course our own church.
This month, the Knights of Columbus kicked off ticket sales for their year-long Super Raffle, proceeds from which are split with St. Ann. For details, see the January 6 bulletin or ask a Knight.
