inclement weather closing procedures

St. Ann’s facilities and staff are here to support the spiritual and social needs of the community. However, in the interest of safety for both staff and parishioners, there are certain times when it is best to close the facilities (both sides of the street). Here are St. Ann's basic guidelines for closure and delayed openings.

Updates will be posted on Facebook (@ccofstann), Twitter (@ccofstann), Instagram (@ccofstann) and via parish-wide email blast (newsletter mailing list). Updates will also be given to 11Alive (NBC WXIA-TV) and Fox 5 Atlanta (FOX WAGA-TV).

St. Ann follows the Cobb County Schools schedule of closings, early releases and delayed openings, with the following caveats:

When Cobb County announces a delayed opening:
*The 6:30am and 9:00am Masses will be cancelled.
*Preschool function will be based on the director's discretion and the length of the delay.
*The parish offices will delay opening accordingly.
When Cobb County announces an early release:
*Early closings will be followed for the parish offices and all employees.
*Cancellation of events and activities will be made on a case-by-case analysis.
When Cobb County announces a closing:
*The 6:30am and 9:00am Masses will be cancelled.
*Preschool will be closed.
*Assessments will be made for Launch, Edge and Life Teen to remain in session or close.
*Office closing and cancellation of events and activities will be made on a case-by-case analysis.

The Catholic Church of St. Ann is a La Salette parish family dedicated to reconciliation through worship, word, works and sacrament.
