2019 Eucharistic Congress

June 21-22 | Georgia International Convention Center

All are invited to the 2019 Eucharistic Congress to celebrate the visible, living presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. This free event organized by the Archdiocese of Atlanta brings over 30,000 people from all over the Southeast together to grow as a community centered around the Eucharist. The event has sessions designed for all interests. 

St. Ann’s Eucharistic Adoration Ministry is leading the parish’s participation in the Eucharistic Congress.

Schedule and Information

 
Friday, June 21
9:00am and 11:00am: Starve Wars meal packing event: 650 volunteers are needed to pack 100,000 meals to go to the impoverished developing country of Burkina Faso in Africa. Donations are accepted.
 
 
 
6:30pm: Opening Mass
A healing service, the Revive Young Adult track, and Francophone track take place immediately after the Mass.
 
Saturday, June 22
8:30am: Morning procession followed by Adoration
 
11:00am: American Sign Language, English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Teen (Middle School and High School) Tracks
A children’s track for ages 5-10 years will also be available with registration held from 7:00-9:00am on a first come basis: https://congress.archatl.com/track/
 
5:00pm: Closing Mass
First Communicants are invited to be in the entrance procession for the closing Mass, wearing First Communion attire. https://congress.archatl.com/coordinators/first-communicants/
 
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are needed in various areas of the Congress, including the children’s track, ushers, and welcoming committee. Volunteer sign up: https://congress.archatl.com/become-a-volunteer/
 
ALTAR SERVERS
Children who serve as altar servers are invited to vest in their parish vestments and participate in the closing Mass of the Eucharistic Congress. Altar servers will participate in the processions and be seated in a special area. For more information, please contact Patricia DeJarnett, Office for Divine Worship.
