Confirmation

Welcome to St. Ann's Confirmation program!

Our Confirmation program is designed to prepare our youth and adults to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. By doing this, we strive to provide the knowledge and grace of God, to enable all to go out and spread the Gospel. We are here to help make St. Ann's and our Catholic faith their own.

Have you been asked to be a Confirmation sponsor and need parish verification? Contact Teena Kay.

Confirmation requirements

Confirmation preparation for current seventh graders

At. St. Ann, the sacrament of Confirmation is a journey that requires two years of catechetical formation classes (typically in seventh-eighth grades) and other requirements.

Confirmation is celebrated in the tenth-grade year for teens who have completed the required preparations. A bishop from the Archdiocese of Atlanta celebrates Masses at St. Ann.

Your seventh grader needs to complete one of the following:

  1. Edge (or other Catholic middle school faith formation)
  2. Catholic school religion class (Catholic school)

See the 8th grade tab for next steps.
